What you get in an LB Snow custom split board conversion:

1. LB Snow techs cut your board in half and seal the inside sidewall to protect your board’s core from the elements.
2. We do not install an inside edge.*
3. We then install the Voile DIY kit.*
4. We also will install the Karakoram binding system if the customer would prefer that route. We accept everyone here at LB Snow.
5. Wait patiently for the techs at LB Snow to finish your split with precision and care.

* Installing a foreign object into a manufactured snowboard compromises the board’s structural integrity. Adding that inside edge is unnecessary. When the board is in tour mode, the board’s original edges become your effective inside ski edges. A metal outside edge is unnecessary because you use your inside edge to grip the snow 100% of the time when touring. The installation of an inside edge would raise cost of the package with no additional benefit
* For an additional $50, we can install the Voile Universal pucks, which allow the rider multiple stance options.

We set up our jigs to cut a perfectly strait line down the center of the snowboard; however, some issues can arise that are beyond our control. Though uncommon, some snowboards have foreign materials in the core that divert the cutting blade or, when cut, jeopardize the boards overall performance. It is impossible for us to know the exact construction of all snowboards. It is the responsibility of our customers to research their boards before committing to split board conversions. LB Snow will not be held liable for miss cuts due to foreign materials in the core. Our workmanship is guaranteed. If a problem arises that is within our control, we will go to any length to ensure customer satisfaction.
